Walk-ins are welcome. Reservations can be made for a 6:30 pm – 8pm timeslot. To secure a spot, you can make a reservation by "purchasing" a free ticket through Humanitix. You are not required to pay at the time of reserving. Credit card and cash payments will be available on the night when you order your food.

Can you accommodate wheelchairs or other accessibility requests?

Yes we can. Entry to Rintel’s is up the side of the Synagogue building via a continuous DDA-compliant inclined path from the street to the building. There is a gate that will usually be staffed and a single step to enter the dining room. A portable ramp will be available to navigate the step.

Is Rintel’s a Not-for-Profit, and can I donate?

Rintel’s Diner is a not-for-profit organisation that aims to build community and enhance social harmony around delicious kosher food. If you are so inclined, you can make a donation at the time of reserving your ticket via the Humanitix link or on the night in lieu of a tip.

What exactly is cholent?

Cholent is an ancient European Ashkenazic Shabbat stew dish. It consists of meat, legumes, and root vegetables, and it is slow-cooked over 24 hours until it reaches just the right consistency and texture. Rintel’s Diner will also offer Sephardic and vegan variations.
